Lying only 18 km north of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand is the island of Koh Phangan. Being generally much more quieter and laid back than its neighbor, with the exception of the full moon party where a estimated number of 5 - 10,000 visitors arrive for the infamous full moon in Haad Rin Nok.

island was later targeted by Chinese people most of them originating from the chinese province Hainan fleeing the economic hardship in their country.
Koh Phangan is one of the country's interesting tropical gems. Blessed with sunny
beachesand hidden bays, people from many different countries come again evry year to soak up the unforgettable feeling of the island.

climateis the whole year a perfect for a holiday. Clear days and a refreshing sea breeze nearly everyday. For the purists, end of December to the end of March could be the best vacation island weather.
